Cancellation & refund policy for individual and family bookings

All bookings must be made through our website. Inquiries made over the phone, text message or otherwise are not deemed to be a booking unless confirmed in writing.

A deposit may be required to secure your booking, especially at times of high demand or when you book for a large group. The deposit amount is $10 for each participant (climber).

What happens if YOU decide to cancel or modify your booking:

Any cancellation or modification must be made in writing.

If your cancellation is received by us at least 48 hours before the booking time, you will be entitled a refund of your deposit.

If you make the cancellation or the modification less than 48 hours before the booking time, we will retain a $5 booking fee for each booked space you are cancelling.

If you don’t notify us, we will retain the $10 deposit for each booked space you are not using on the day.

Once your group has been checked in, no refund or compensation will be payable by Adventure Forest in the event that any participant decides not to undertake or complete the activities.

Price adjustment: discount applies for the actual number of people participating. For example if you have booked initially for more than 10 people but reduce later to 3 participants, the individual price for each participant will apply, regardless of the deposit retained as a result of your cancellation for the other spaces.

What happens if WE (Adventure Forest) have to cancel your booking:

We will be in touch ASAP.

If we cancel your booking (for example due to bad weather or change in Covid-19 alert level), your deposit will de refunded in full, but no other compensation shall be payable.

However, in the event that Adventure Forest has to close activities for reasons beyond its control (including bad weather) and in circumstances where your party has already commenced the activities, you shall not be entitled to any refund (in part or in whole).

After checking in, no refund or compensation will be payable by Adventure Forest in the event that any participant is not permitted to undertake or complete the activities.

What happens with COVID-19?

As stated above, if we can’t operate due to the Government’s response to the pandemic, all booking will be cancelled. We will contact you as soon as possible and any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

What happens to my school or youth group booking?

This page is for the general public and policies apply differently for large bookings such as school groups. Please refer to the booking Terms and Conditions which have been sent with your booking pack.
